Alan Alexander Named Chairman of Best Places Advisory Board
Tucson, Arizona, USA—November 21, 2011— Best Places in the World to Retire, a Tucson-based pre-launch company developing a website for people considering retiring overseas and those who would like to sell to them, today announced that Alan Alexander was named to the role of Chairman of the Best Places Advisory Board.
“I’m thrilled to be asked to be part of such an interesting, exciting, and value-packed venture,” said Alexander. “Chuck and I have been colleagues for several years, working together on joint projects. I’ve known some of the other team members for less time, but I must say, I’m extremely impressed with each of them. I’ve been giving advice informally to the Best Places team since their founding and more recently, as a member of their Advisory Board. I’m honored to be named its Chairman.”
The primary responsibility of the Advisory Board is to provide advice to the management of Best Places. As Chairman of the Advisory Board, Alan will provide leadership and structure to the Board and run the meetings. He will also assist in recruiting new Board members and Best Places employees, contractors and partners.
Alan is exceptionally well-suited to his new role. He is a well-respected Tucson businessman who founded and ran several Internet-based companies, and is an expert in Search Engine Optimization and other related Internet strategies. Alan is currently CEO of Recoleta Digital Media, President of DOG DOG BOY Advertising and a member of Desert Angels, a group of accredited investors primarily from Southern Arizona, in the Tucson area.
