There’s an international airport in Puerto Vallarta called the Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport which is 20 minutes from downtown. There are direct flights from the Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport to Chicago, LA, Denver, and Atlanta. From the Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport, you can go anywhere you want to go in the States and in other parts of the world.
Living close to the international airport is a big advantage for me because if I needed to fly a lot and I lived in some other places that are far from the airport, it might take me a while to get to the airport, and then there may not be a lot of direct flights. I know a lot of work-from-home Americans who live here in Puerto Vallarta and travel and use the airport all the time, which is probably one of the reasons that they’re here in Puerto Vallarta.
