The best way to get around in Puerto Vallarta depends on where you’re going and the weather. Taxis are expensive in Puerto Vallarta because it is an expensive city for services but you can always take the bus or drive your car to move yourself from one place to another easily. If you take a bus from the airport and you want to go all the way to the end of Puerto Vallarta on the south side, you might spend about 45 minutes including the traffic. My house is located 10 minutes away from the office but during the winter I take my bike or walk, which usually takes me 8 minutes from my house to the office and I arrive completely fresh, after enjoying the ride.
