Where are the best beaches in and around Cayo, Belize, including San Ignacio and Belmopan?

You wouldn't be able to find the beach in the Cayo District in Belize because the entire area is inland. This is the area where everybody would run when they are trying to get away from storms that come from the sea.

The closest beach would probably be Hopkins, which is two and a half hours away by car.
