Does Belize television have American or Canadian TV channels?

We get TV in Belize, absolutely. It is good quality television, too.
You get English-speaking cable TV here. You will get all the American channels and the big networks that you know and love. We pay US $22 a month for about 200 channels. For that amount, you get HBO, Showtime, and all the specialty channels. It is fantastic TV for a low price.

There is cable in Corozal, but they do not have American channels; they have Mexican channels. English is the spoken language in Belize by almost everyone and they do cater to people with cable television.

Belize television has 150 international channels through cable. Turning the television on in Belize is like turning on a television in Los Angeles, except that, in Belize, we don’t have as many channels. We do, however, have USA, NBC, Encore, Starz, and HBO. There are six Belizean channels, including three news channels. The Belizean channels are all in English and a typical American would not have a hard time understanding the English spoken on Belize television channels.
