What's the best way to get around in Volcan and Cerro Punta, Chiriqui Province, Panama?
James David Audlin - Editores Volcán Barú
The best way to get around in the Volcán and Cerro Punta area is either by bus or on foot. Buses run throughout the country of Panamá and are (by U.S. terms) extremely inexpensive. They are also comfortable and safe. The main bus from Davíd to Cerro Punta goes by in each direction about every 15 minutes. I have lived here for two and a half years and have relied completely on the bus system, and never felt the lack of an automobile. For shorter distances, I love to walk...

For shorter distances, I love to walk - this is an area that is so beautiful that walking is often the best way to appreciate the gorgeous scenery. A personal rule is that I never leave the house without my camera.
