Driving in Volcan and Cerro Punta is different from driving in the city. In these little towns you must slow down in order to enjoy the fantastic views of the ocean and mountains. Therefore, in the middle of the journey to Volcan and Cerro Punta, you will find a place called "Alan Her". You can rest, check out the views and get something to eat.

 

There are 34 miles from David to Volcan, and from Volcan to Cerro Punta are around 8...

There are 34 miles from David to Volcan, and from Volcan to Cerro Punta are around 8 more miles, so it´s a total of 45 minutes and 45 miles from David to Cerro Punta.

 

You will really enjoy driving to these towns.  Along the way, there are many places where you can stop and get souvenirs, vegetables (these towns produce 80% of the vegetables we eat in Panama), or something to eat, etc. 

 

Watch out for: animals on the road, and when is raining the roads get slippery.
