There are 34 miles from David to Volcan, and from Volcan to Cerro Punta are around 8 more miles, so it´s a total of 45 minutes and 45 miles from David to Cerro Punta.
You will really enjoy driving to these towns. Along the way, there are many places where you can stop and get souvenirs, vegetables (these towns produce 80% of the vegetables we eat in Panama), or something to eat, etc.
Watch out for: animals on the road, and when is raining the roads get slippery.
