How good are the medical centers, hospitals, and clinics in the Volcán and Cerro Punta region of Panamá? There are three hospitals in the provincial capital of Davíd (four if you count the maternity hospital), all excellent. How good are the medical centers, hospitals, and clinics in the Volcán and Cerro Punta region of Panamá? There are several clinics in the area, and the doctors are universally very good.

 

Two doctors in the area are also acupuncturists.

 

There is also a first-class herbal clinic in Volcán. For about $5 they give you a thorough examination with a metal rod.
