Are there American-trained doctors in Volcan and Cerro Punta, Chiriqui Province, Panama?

In Spanish, they say "entrñado estadounidense" for "U.S.-trained".)

Most of the doctors here in Volcan speak at least a modicum of English. Most are at least very good, and some are excellent. If you do not speak any Spanish, call ahead to see if a doctor speaks English, or bring along a bilingual friend.
Of course, I strongly urge all new residents here to learn to speak at least some Spanish. Of course one can get by without the ability, but, if you really want to enjoy living here, and want to earn the liking and respect of your neighbors, and want a fuller range of pleasant experience, LEARN TO SPEAK SPANISH.
