What's the closest airport to El Valle de Anton, Panama and what are the flights to and from El Valle de Anton, Panama?

If you come to Panama on an international flight and want to go to El Valle de Anton, you will most likely use the Panama City International airport Tocumen (code PTY).  The Panama City downtown airport is generally used for domestic flights (San Blas, Pacific Islands, David and Bocas del Toro).

The only way to fly to and from El Valle is by helicopter.  The nearest private airfield for private craft is located in Chame/Bejuco, a 55 minute drive from El Valle

The closest functioning international airport to El Valle is Tocumen (airport code PTY).  It is roughly 2 and a half hours away.  Fortunately the government has started work on one of the US Air Force's old runways.  They started work about a year ago, and I think that the new international airport will be completed in about four years..  That airport is only 45 minutes away..
