But once you are already with the doctor, the communication is usually very good even if you do not speak Spanish.

For minor medical issues, I go to Boquete, but my English-speaking doctor is in David, where he has his office right in the main hospital.  (David is the closest big city to Boquete about 35 minutes away by car.)
