During the dry season, you hardly get any rain at all. The total annual rainfall for the Pacific Coast region of Nicaragua is generally between 40 - 60 inches.
In the Nicaraguan jungle, it probably rains most of the time during the rainy season and the rainy season may be a bit longer.
In the Caribbean side of the country, it can receive anywhere from 100 to 250 inches of rain per year.

The rainy season in Nicaragua starts around May and it gets heavier around September. September and October are the heaviest rain months. Then it starts to taper off by November.
