Of course you can buy furniture in Nicaragua, and we have so many places where to buy them that I can't name them all.
As usual, lets talk about the main stores. In one of the previous answers I talked about one of our department stores SIMAN, which you can find in 3 malls around Managua. This department store sells all kinds of furniture like living room sets, dining tables, bedroom sets, closets, lamps, desks, chairs, and patio sets.
In that same store you can buy every utensil you need for a new home.
Another one like it, but with even more variety, is SINSA home center. This store is kind of a replica of The Home Depot. They sell furniture, any stuff for your home starting from bathroom and bedroom stuff, to lamps, hardware and construction materials.
Then there is La Curacao, which you can also find down in California. This store sells furniture, bedroom sets, kitchen sets, fridge and stove, microwaves, blender, food processors and electronics as well (laptops, computers, LCD, LED, DVDs, sound systems, cell phones, cameras, and more).
And of course as mentioned before, we also have a new Walmart coming soon.
But what is the best Nicaragua has to offer you in furniture? Nicaraguan handmade furniture.
You can find them all around Nicaragua, but one of the most famous places in the country to buy them is in the strip of Masatepe, where you will find several stores offering beautiful full wood handmade furniture. Price ranges go from $200 to $500 per set.
You can even order them according to your taste and design and pick it up later, to receive your very own personalized set of furniture. They offer couches, swing chairs, closets, patio sets, and more.
