The cost range to go to the movies in Nicaragua is from US $3 to $7. You may wonder why there is a difference in price, so I will explain the difference below.
The lowest cost of $3 is for a regular ticket, in which case you don't have the option to select your seat location and you will sit in a location based on availability. If you are a university student or a retired person from Nicaragua they would even give an...

The higher cost is for the VIP movie hall, where you have the option to make a reservation online, select your seat location and enjoy the movie on the leather seats with reclining system. In addition they offer waiter service in the lobby and halls and an extensive menu for imported liquor which you can accompany with different options of fast food.
I definitely recommend to go to the VIP lounge. It's always nicer and more relaxing.

The average cost to go to the movies in Nicaragua is about US $5 to $6. There are also days when you can go to the movies and get two tickets, but pay for only one. That happens every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. You can go to the movies at any time on those days and expect to pay only one ticket for two. It is very affordable.

In Managua, we have three theaters that offer VIP treatment. Those cinemas have reclining sofas, instead of regular seats. You can order food, drinks, and alcoholic drinks right from your seat and they serve you what you ordered. Those movie theaters are small and are very comfortable because you will not be with a big crowd as you watch. You’ll enjoy the movie a lot. The cost to watch a movie in those cinemas would be double the price of the regular ones . It’s about $10 per ticket. Beer costs $1.50, soda is $1, and a hamburger is about $5 to $6.

When I go with my family of four to watch a movie, it costs 200 Cordobas (about US $6.65 per ticket). The cost would depend on the kind of theater you go to. A VIP theater costs about $12 to $13 per person, but a VIP theater is a different experience. The chairs are larger and more comfortable, you can order food while you watch, etc.
The movies being shown are first-run movies. Those who only speak English can choose English-speaking movies, movies...
