Does the ocean in Belize have dangerous animals in it?

Like any other sea in the world, there is a danger in the waters here in Belize. However, there is no need to worry about any huge dangerous sharks or any other danger in the sea. Like any other sea in the world, there is a danger in the waters here in Belize. However, there is no need to worry about any huge dangerous sharks or any other danger in the sea. We have big sea creatures like manatees, but they are not dangerous; they are like dolphins. In the sea, there will always be some kind of danger. There will always be jellyfish and some of sharks anywhere, but here in Belize, the danger is not that much compared to other countries.
My father is a scuba diving instructor and in 27 years of working on the sea, he has never been attacked by anything.

I always say that in Belize, predators are not in the ocean, but they are in the bars downtown. The only thing you really need to worry about in the water around Belize are the jellyfish. They are quite significant and can be painful.
The sharks are not after us, but we surely are after them. What we do to sharks is unfair and unkind.
So, the dangerous things in the ocean are boat traffic, boat captains who are not...

No, there are not dangerous animals in the waters of Belize. We feel very safe going into the water and having fun. We have a very nice sea and there are different areas where you could go to have an adventure such as the Blue Hole, which is one of the biggest sea holes in the world. You could go scuba diving in the Blue Hole and it’s a very nice adventure. There are no sharks or eels that will harm you in the oceans around Belize. I have been here...

I have been here my whole life and I have not heard of anybody getting hurt by a sea animal here in Belize.
Another factor why the ocean of Belize is safe is because we do not get big waves here. We have the second largest barrier reef in the world, so the sea here in Belize is very flat. We never had to worry about being carried out to sea by big waves or rip tides.
