What do restaurants cost in the Volcán and Cerro Punta region of Panamá?
The range is actually a bit wider than another responder has suggested; I have had a full meal for as little as $2.00 and less!
I would also emphasize that the cost of the meal has absolutely nothing to do with the quality. Two of my favorite restaurants in this area cost so little I almost feel like I´m taking advantage of them - and yet the quality is uniformly superb. These restaurants...

I would also emphasize that the cost of the meal has absolutely nothing to do with the quality. Two of my favorite restaurants in this area cost so little I almost feel like I´m taking advantage of them - and yet the quality is uniformly superb. These restaurants offer Panamanian cuisine. One of them has no menu; you dine on what the chef has prepared that day. The other is cafeteria style, and you choose from a couple entrées and maybe three or four sides.
The costlier restaurants tend to cater to gringos - they offer gringo food at gringo (higher) prices. Since I want to experience Panamá, not the country I left, I have relatively little experience with these restaurants.
