How's the nightlife and entertainment in and around the Panama City, Panama area of San Francisco?

San Francisco is a neighborhood of Panama City which is in its very center, and therefore it is surrounded by and full of things to do:
- The ATLAPA conventions center is in San Francisco and regularly organizes expos, shows, concerts and events of all types.
- San Francisco also has 2 of the best malls in the city (Multiplaza and Multicentro).

- Many restaurants and bars.
- Calle Uruguay, a nearby popular street with bars and night clubs, very popular amongst locals and foreigners, especially on the weekends.
- San Francisco is also close to the old Panama City ruins called "Panama La Vieja" which has a museum and also souvenirs.
- The biggest park of the city (Parque Omar) and the Cinta Costa strip are also near.
San Francisco is also an area with a high development of condos and apartment buildings, which makes it a great place to look for a residence if you would like to live in a safe area with all the services needed close to it (supermarkets, pharmacies, schools, hospitals, etc.), with nice view of the city and the bay.

There are actually no clubs in the San Francisco area of Panama City, as this area is more known for its chill-out bars. If you want to go to a club, you need to go to Casco Viejo, which is about 10 to 15 minutes away from San Francisco, if you go by car, or Calle Uruguay in Marbella, which is only seven minutes by car. They are both quite close, and if you are looking for live music, you can find that in Casco Viejo as well.

San Francisco is located quite centrally, so you can reach everything within a couple of minutes, even the malls with restaurants, and one mall in San Pinas, which is about five minutes away from San Francisco by car; it even has a nightclub.
In San Francisco itself, there is a casino at the Sheraton Hotel. So although there is not that much nightlife and entertainment directly in San Francisco, there is a lot around it, that can be reached within ten to 15 minutes easily.
