What's the cost to rent a home in the Panama City, Panama area of San Francisco?

This is Janet Novak of RE/MAX Beaches & City - I lived in the San Francisco area for a while.  San Francisco/Coco del Mar area has the most houses to rent and/or buy in all of Panama City central.  There is an area called Altos del Golf.  This area is close to Parque Omar.  Parque Omar used to be a golf course created by Noriega during his term.  Noriega owned a house, which is now a property of the state, in this area.  Homes in Altos del Golf consist of beautiful and large estate type homes, usually with a guest house and maid's quarters and a swimming pool.  Rents here run between $5,000 and $10,000 per month.  However, in the Coco del Mar area of San Francisco rents will start at around $2,500 per month.

There are a few stand alone, single-family homes in the San Francisco area of Panama City and there are few single-family home neighborhoods here. Generally, most of the neighborhoods in the San Francisco area that have single-family homes are quite expensive. They are usually in gated communities. Most people here in San Francisco live in apartment buildings, especially in the areas of the Punta Pacifica and Paitilla Hospitals.

The single-family homes near Punta Pacifica are mansions, so the rentals are higher priced.
