How's the ecotourism in and around the Pedasi, Azuero, Panama area?
Right now Azuero is an Area that is developing Ecoturism. One example is the Guazán Proyect in Las Minas. Beautiful views and its a Finca with more than 90 hectares of land in the mountain. Waterfalls, rock climbing and other activities.

A great place for ecotourism near Pedasi is Isla Iguana, a protected wildlife refuge 7 km (4.3 miles) off the coast of Pedasi. You can get a boat to get to the island at El Arenal Beach. It is a day trip (no hotel facilities at the island).
The island itself is small and rich in flora and fauna, but the beaches and coral reefs around it are the main attraction (39 acres), the biggest coral reef within the Gulf of Panama.

Pedasi is 30 minutes by car after Las Tablas (the capital of Los Santos), in the Azuero Peninsula, 320 km (about 200 miles) from Panama City.

The ecotourism in Pedasi is great. We have a place in Pedasi called Eco-Venao that has ziplining.
Playa Venao (a beach that is close to Pedasi) is also very well known for surfing and a lot of surf competitions happen there because they have constant waves all year round.
In addition, there is an island off of Pedasi called Isla Iguana (pictured) that is very popular for whale watching. The season for whale watching starts...
