Are there natural disasters like flooding, earthquakes, fire or hurricanes in the Pedasi, Azuero, Panama area?

Pedasi does not get any hurricanes, earthquakes, or tornadoes. Panama is a very special place because of its location and shape. The only thing is that in Pedasi in winter there is a lot of rain.
Pedasi is a very safe place. It has a fire station, a new hospital and the airport. In the summer we have an amazing breeze that you will like.

In certain beaches in Pedasi the current is very strong so you have to be careful and ask where to swim safely. There are also some areas that have larger waves. if you're not a swimmer or surfer beware of these beaches, which can have strong currents:
- El Toro
- Lagarto
- Destiladero
For a safe beach, I recommend El Arenal.

They do not have natural disasters here in Pedasi. I’ve never seen a hurricane. I’ve only heard of a possible tsunami warning from a far away earthquake that never reached us.
Pedasi may have some flooding on account of a heavy rain that’s pretty normal, but I’ve never seen any damage due to flooding here.
The people in Pedasi aren’t concerned about earthquakes because we don’t get them.
The farmers in Pedasi...

The farmers in Pedasi do a lot of open burning in order to preserve their crops, but I’ve never seen any of them get out of control.
We’re not worried about natural disasters here. The living here is pretty laid back.

We don’t have any flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes or fires in Pedasi. The only thing I can think of was some flooding about two years ago in a town next to a river about two hours away from Pedasi, which was an isolated incident in one area during one rainy season. We don’t get brush fires, perhaps because it’s not that dry here. We also don’t get tsunamis.

Natural Disasters in Panamá and in Pedasi
The main reason why the Panamá Canal was built here was because the occurrences of natural disasters are minimized to some occasional flooding, when the rain is too heavy; some winds here and there; or thunderstorms, especially in our rainy season.
Their inhabitants of Panamá, Pedasi included, have never experienced snow, tornados, earthquakes (except some "shakes" here and there in the volcano areas, like Boquete or other mountains) tsunamis or that kind of disaster, like other countries. Panamá in general and Pedasi in specific is blessed for his weather.
Panamá in general and Pedasi specifically have beautiful sunshine every day, continuous rainbows, fresh breeze and peaceful life, especially in the countryside. The city of Panamá is not as peaceful, due to traffic congestion, but enjoys the same weather.
Regarding fires, Panamá doesn´t have forest fires, like other countries. We just have an occasional fire in some building, especially if its made out of old wood, or sometimes in the country, where careless people burn their bushes or leaves, making the fire department nervous sometimes.

We don’t experience natural disasters in Pedasi. We don’t even have flooding here because all the water drains pretty well. We experience some tremors about twice a year or even less. They are not very strong and they do not cause any damage to any buildings or houses in Pedasi.
We have had fires, but they are not like the wildfires in California. The fires we get here are in the far away farms and there are no houses there. It can get too...

We have had fires, but they are not like the wildfires in California. The fires we get here are in the far away farms and there are no houses there. It can get too hot and dry sometimes and that causes some fires in the farms, but they are nothing big to really worry about.
Pedasi gets zero hurricanes. We have some volcanoes, but it is not common for them to explode; they have been sleeping for a while now.
