Can I buy furniture in the Pedasi, Azuero, Panama area?

There are no furniture stores in Pedasi. Las Tablas (about 30 miles away on a good, fast road) or Chitre (about 40 miles away, just past Las Tablas) are the nearest places for furniture. However for a selection of more modern furniture, then Panama City is the place to go.  Panama City is about five hours away by car.

There are local manufactures of furniture in the Pedasi area that use the locally grown teak lumber. If you are careful you can find a local artesian who will do excellent work with this particular material. If you are willing to travel you can always go to Panama City where you can find excellent furniture stores with a very large assortment of high quality furniture. I am not sure what you can find in Chirtre, I am sure with some investigative shopping and with the help...
