What is the culture of the Pedasi, Azuero, Panama area?

I’m not exactly from Pedasi, but from a little place called Cañas which is about 30 minutes from it. However, I do work at Pedasi and because of this; I can say that this town is one of the most traditional towns in Panama. Its inhabitants are very friendly and happy people. They mostly live on tourism and fishing. Even though the pedasieños love traditional food, in the last couple of years, they have opened their minds and palates to different types of food and...

If you would compare the lifestyle of the people in Pedasi to other places, you would find that Pedasi is very laid back. There is not a lot of noise; Pedasi is a very quiet place.
Because Pedasi is small, everybody knows each other. They have open doors all the time and you can see your neighbors just sitting outside on the porch, chilling. Drinking coffee is very common in Pedasi, too. It is a very tranquil place.

The beaches are very close to the town of Pedasi, so families usually go to the beach during the weekends. They also have parties like the carnivals, which is a huge festivity and where they have cars with the queens in big feathers attached to their backs, which is very beautiful and very attractive.
Pedasi itself is very laidback and very quiet, but it has its times for festivities, and the people of Pedasi also like to party.

Beloved newcomer,
Pedasi is family-oriented and has deep Republican or Conservative Independence roots.
The Culture is traditionally Panamanian with, of course, some add-ons, such as Spanish, French, North American, Dutch and others that have fallen in love with the area.
Personally, from what I´ve experienced, Pedasi has a variety of locals; such as writers, poets, canvas painters, artisians, presidents,...

Personally, from what I´ve experienced, Pedasi has a variety of locals; such as writers, poets, canvas painters, artisians, presidents, transients, politicians, high-end game fisherman, ecologists, urban developers, movie stars, dancers, surfing champs, survivalists, preppers, equestrians, cattle ranchers, baseball players, geo tribal folks, just to mention a few. If I missed someone, I extend my sincerest apologies.
With all that said, you may find your niche.
+++ But again it may not be your cup of tea.+++
Best of luck!
