Are there American-trained doctors in the Pedasi, Azuero, Panama area?

There are no doctors with American diplomas in Pedasi, although here in Pedasi we do have highly trained professionals with diplomas from Universidad de Panama, which meet American health care standards and requirements.

I am not certain if there are American-trained doctors for Pedasi and Azuero. However in Panama City there are quite a few US trained doctors.
Note that Latin American doctors typically do their post-doctoral specialization training in Mexico, Spain, Chile' and Colombia. Absent paid support, the cost of training in the USA is prohibitive for most Latin doctors.
I can assure you that training credentials form any of the above listed countries is a PLUS. If you need a recommendation about a specific specialist, feel free to contact me.

I do not know of any American-trained doctors in Pedasi. Most of the doctors in Pedasi are Panamanians who graduated from Universdad de Panama, which is the state university of Panama and which is very good. It is actually one of the best medical schools in Central America.
If you really want to see an American-trained doctor, you can go to Panama City, which is only 45 minutes away by plane or five hours away by car.
