Is it safe to drink the water in Pedasi? Yes, I think the water is perfectly safe to drink.
The water in Pedasi has never made me sick but I do smell a high level of chlorine when I shower or bathe. I've talked to a few people that say they have gotten an upset stomach from the water but nothing like their travels in other countries. Personally I feel it is safe but for flavor, I prefer bottled water when I have the choice.

The water in Pedasi, as well as in most towns of the Azuero Peninsula, is tasteless, which makes it very good. Also, just like the other answers said, the water in Pedasi is completely safe to drink, so don't be afraid of drinking from the tap.

The water in Pedasi is completely safe to drink. We are on a very pure and clean system. I have been drinking the water in Pedasi since arriving several months ago without any ill effects.
