Are there exotic birds in and around the Panama City, Panama area of Marbella? Where can I go bird watching in and around the Panama City, Panama area of Marbella?

Marbella Panama is located right in the heart of down town Panama City, Panama, so this area is NOT ideally suited for bird watching.  However, not too far away there are great bird watching areas.  Some say that pipeline road in the Gamboa rain forest provides what is perhaps the best bird watching in all the world.  On one of my visits to pipeline road I observed an absolutely fantastic number of humming birds.   The large Metropolitan Park with in the city limits is another top birding spot.  I know the general manager of the Westin and InterContinental hotels at Playa Bonita Resort and he shared with me that a birding guest who stayed at Playa Bonita identified 64 different bird species without even leaving the Playa Bonita Resort.

Marbella, as any other part of Panama City, Panama, offers an extensive variety of birds....but is not a "bird watching center", as other neighborhoods could be described, such as Gamboa, Howard, Albrook or Clayton, or thousands of others in the "interior", especially in El Valle de Anton.
