How's the standard of living in the Panama City, Panama area of Marbella?

The Marbella area of Panama City  is an urban area with larger buildings, some of which are among the most high end in the country of Panama.

 

The Punta Pacifica area in particular is probably the most expensive are in Marbella. Punta Pacifica is a high-class residential and commercial area. Apartments and properties here can range up to US $1M to $4M.

The Marbella area of Panama City  is an urban area with larger buildings, some of which are among the most high end in the country of Panama.

 

The Punta Pacifica area in particular is probably the most expensive are in Marbella. Punta Pacifica is a high-class residential and commercial area. Apartments and properties here can range up to US $1M to $4M.

 

The entire Marbella area of Panama City is fairly small and everything that you need is within walking distance.  Apartment buildings in Marbella were built in such a way that you have everything in there. Some of them will have about 50 floors of apartment units, several floors of parking space and common areas.

 

Apartment buildings usually have about two floors that are dedicated common areas for people to use. They have several gyms, tennis courts, a spa, beauty salons, etc. All of these amenities are inside the buildings so it is very convenient for people who live there. You just have to take the elevator, head to the common area, and you will find yourself in the middle of everything.

 

Some of the apartment units actually have saunas and steam baths and these are already included when you buy the unit. You do not have to install any of these amenities on your own. That is part of what the developers offer because they know that people will use these facilities anyway. The structures were made to fulfill all your needs.

There are also many luxurious apartments in the Marbella area, some houses, and many hotels. A lot of the business travelers who come to Panama stay in the Marbella area.

Marbella, Panama City has a pretty nice standard of living, and similar to the standard of living in the Punta Pacifica area, which is the most luxury area of Panama.  Marbella is the heart of the banking district, so it houses many banks and bank headquarters. There are also many luxurious apartments in the Marbella area, some houses, and many hotels. A lot of the business travelers who come to Panama stay in the Marbella area.

 

Marbella is very close to the Cinta Costera, which is a park that was built along Avenida Balboa, the main road on the front of the bay here in Panama City. Many of the people who live in the Marbella area enjoy this park and walking path. You would typically see throngs of people out in the evenings after work hours participating in healthy activities such as walking, jogging, bicycle riding. It is a very nice park that is comparable to some of the best parks and pedestrian areas in the world.

 

On Sunday mornings, the city closes the main drag of the streets in Marbella and opens up to pedestrians and bicycles. They generally have a bicycle rally between 7 AM and 12 Pm on Avenida Balboa where they take all the cars off the road and make it into a big pedestrian way for people to enjoy the outdoors on Sunday mornings. I have done it once myself. I went on my own and it was great. They have stands where some of the local bicycle shops let you utilize a bicycle for free during those times as a promotion for their businesses. I generally walk in the Cinta Costera during the evenings with my wife to get some exercise and debrief about the day. It’s an excellent exercise.
