Where's the best sightseeing in and around the Panama City, Panama suburb of Fort Clayton / Clayton?

Clayton is surrounded by natural parks that protect wide areas of forest next to the city and in the Panama Canal region. The Natural Metropolitan Park surrounds a good part of the Clayton neighborhood and is undeniably one of the best sightseeing places for flora, fauna (bird watching) and it also has good panoramic views of the city. The park has several trails that walk around that lead to hilltops from where you can have nice views of the jungle, the city, the ocean and the Panama...

The park has a center for visitors and they will offer the guide and all the information needed to visit the park. All of this is within two minutes of Clayton.

In Clayton, there is a water tank where teenagers climb up to the top and do some sightseeing. It is illegal, but teenagers do that and the cops do not know.
If you want to see something that tourists would go to, you could go to Cerro Ancon, which has the highest elevation in Panama City. You will have a very nice view of Panama City from Cerro Ancon, which is near the Panama Canal offices. It’s about 20 minutes away from Clayton by car. It’s pretty amazing to go...

My favorite place for sight-seeing is the Amador Causeway and Casco Viejo. The Amador Causeway is about half an hour or 45 minutes away from Clayton. At the Amador Causeway, you can see Panama City. There are lots of restaurants. You can grab a beer if you want to even in the middle of the day when the sun is so hot. You will see the birds and the sea, too, so it’s very relaxing.
I also went a couple of times to the Canal. It’s pretty amazing what people can do. The expansion that they are doing right now is also pretty amazing. You would think that, “Whoa, we did that. This is ours.” Panamanians are very proud of the Canal expansion and the Canal itself.
Casco Viejo is around 15 or 20 minutes away from Clayton by car. It’s not advisable to walk from Clayton to Casco Viejo, since it’s too hot.
Casco Viejo is pretty old but it is also pretty awesome because it reminds us of our history, and also we can admire how they made the place more pretty my fixing it. They restored Casco Viejo. They don’t change it, but they did fix and restore it. They maintain the original architecture of the place.
You can walk in Casco Viejo and buy ice cream. You can do anything. It’s a fun place to go. They have bars, too.
