Fort Clayton in specific is a beautiful place with wide open areas and the home of the City of Knowledge where may schools, universities, and technological centers are located, and is a very safe place. Fort Clayton is located close to the Panama Canal and there are no low income areas close by. My wife and I live about one half mile from the hospital (just a few miles from Fort Clayton), to which I walk frequently without any problems. My wife walks to church every morning, also without problems.
In the United States, I studied in Indiana and New York City, and did my surgical training in Boston, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia. In Panama, I feel as safe as I did In all those places.
