What are the construction standards in El Valle de Anton, Panama?

The best answer I can give you here is that you set the standard for your home because no one else will.. There are zoning rules you have to follow, but they are not that difficult.. Whatever you build here, just remember that the valley is actually and ancient lake bed that formed on top of the caldera of a volcano.. When you drill down you will hit thermal springs, and artesian springs.. The one rule that everyone tries to follow is don't build 3 stories...

El Valle de Antón, (Anton Valley), Panama is a traditional and charming place to visit, and a wonderful vacation center, especially for those who love nature, bird watching or simply going to a thermal pool that changes color, depending the mineral at that moment. Also not to be missed is the "mod bath", which is very attractive for visitors as well as locals, and seems to be a very good option as a spa treatment.

El Valle, Panama also offers lots of outdoor adventures, like a "rope course" or the "canopy" which everyone enjoys to the point that visitors go over and over while they are in town. As for hiking, El Valle has lots of mountains. But if you prefer, just take a local guide, for your security, as big mountains can be "tricky", and you may get lost. Horseback riding is also offered in a regular basis.
As to construction standards, there are regulations enforced in every part of the country of Panama, which must be followed. But if you get a Panamanian licensed architect to do all the work and documentation, even though it might take some time to get the permits, you will end with a beautiful property and enjoy every moment of it.
The people in El Valle very warm and accommodating. In addition, you will enjoy the privilege of walking every morning (with the singing of a rooster), to get fresh just made bread or an egg just taken from the chickens.
That is priceless. And the relaxing life you are seeking will become a reality.

In El Valle de Anton, you have to get permits before you could build something but I think you could pretty much build whatever you want. There are no electrical inspections or plumbing inspections.
If you have a good builder then your home would be well built, and if you had a bad builder, your home would not be well built. Just because a home was inspected doesn’t mean it is of quality construction. You do need to be careful and have a close look at what you...
