How many Americans and Canadians and other expats live in El Valle de Anton, Panama?

Panamá doesn´t have a current census of foreigners in each town.  But  El Valle, and surrounding villages and towns,  has  a good group of permanent residents, specially from Europe, or the United States.  Panamanians still remain as the top group of homeowners.  Expats get together here and there, to share experiences and enjoy lunche, or a good cup of tea or coffee.  In addition, different groups from different towns in the area...

Neil Stein - Panama Paraiso

Many expats here in El Valle de Anton are from Florida, but Americans usually come and go. There are a number of Americans who have been here for about eight to ten years, while some just stayed for a couple of years and then left. There are also a number of Europeans here in El Valle; some are from Switzerland and some are from France. People from Spain have also started coming over because of the bad economy in Spain right now.
