The cost to rent a home in Coronado just depends on its size and how close it is to the ocean. The rent could start at $700 per month.

In Coronado Panama there are a lot of rental options: beach, golf, equestrian club, lake front, apartments. You can rent property daily, weekly or monthly.
The best deal I found at the time of this article is a house with 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, living / dinning room, kitchen and terrace on the golf course, which goes for $250 a day, $1,000 a week and if you rent for 6 months or more rent goes for $2,000 a month.

A rental in Coronado Panama can go as high as $5,000 a month. It all depends on high and low season. High season (summer - dry season) in Coronado is from late December to March. Carnivals are for a week in February. Easter Week is in March, and the National holidays are in November. If you book outside those dates you will be able to find much better deals.

Rental prices in Coronado, Panama are around US $1,000 to $1,500 per month for 2 – 3 bedroom and bathroom homes in reasonably good condition, some with pools. Condo rentals with less space but with built-in amenities and security are about the same price.
There are many homes available in Coronado in and off-season, but they vary a lot in size and condition. Some of the best buys for rentals are the more exclusive homes that may have a high market value, but rent...

I think you can splurge a bit on a rental for a few weeks or months, when you see the quality you are getting. Condos will always draw well-priced rentals, but homes offer space for families and pets, along with a sense of privacy.

There are not a lot of people who rent homes or condominiums here in Coronado, Panama. It is not a big renting community.
For places you can find, the cost to rent depends on the location and the condition of the home. There are places that are cheap, but you wouldn’t want to live in there. To get a house that you would want to live in, might probably cost around US $1,500 per month.

It is not easy to come to Panama and work. Most of the people who come here are retirees, so very few people do not have enough money to buy their own property. That is why there are only a few places available to rent, which makes Coronado not a big rental market.

We have a friend who rents in Coronado, Panama who pays US $950 for a house on a private lot. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is an odd house because there are two buildings. There is kitchen and living room in one building and a casita with a master bedroom and washroom in the other building. So this house is at the low end of the price range and it’s hard to find prices that low. You’d be looking closer to $1,500...

We have another friend who lives on the street next to us and they pay $1,500 for a home with about 2,300 square feet with a pool. It has three bedrooms, a maid’s quarters, and three and a half bathrooms and it is in a nice location. The furniture is included in the rent and it is just a 10-minute walk to the beach. All utilities are separate.

The cost to rent a home in Coronado, Panama depends on several things. If you rent a home that is close to the beach, it would cost around $2,000 to $3,000 per month. If it is a house that is not on the beach, but still on a nice area, it would be around $800 to $1,500 per month. That price includes utilities like water, electric, and Internet. If you were in a condo, you would pay for a maintenance fee, which is usually around $150; it’s not a lot.

Normally, when you rent a house here in Coronado, it is furnished, because many of the people who rent here go back and forth between Coronado and their home countries and don’t bring their furniture with them. When they want to come back here, they still have their house. It’s like their second home.
Rental terms here in Coronado are usually for one year.

The cost to rent a home inside the guarded and gated communities in Coronado, Panama (which is, of course, one of the largest expat communities in Panama), would be around US $1,500 to $2,000 per month for at least 6 months, or a long term lease. They also have options for one year and two years. The cost to rent is also dependent on supply and demand, but right now this is a good estimate.

For $1,500 to $2,000 per month, you can get a home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, in the range of 1,400 to 1,800 square feet, located about 10 to 15 minutes away from the ocean by foot. It would be more of Mediterranean architectural design, small but quaint and well appointed. It would have a small yard but not much of a view, located in a lot next to another house, typical of a subdivision in the US.
Coronado is very large and has several gated communities. There are some magnificent homes on the ocean but you do not typically find these mansions available for rent. They are owned and most of the homeowners do live there, either full time, or as a weekend house.
The Coronado community itself is very safe. There are lots of restaurants inside and outside of the gate of Coronado. There is a subdivision in more of a Panamanian style of architecture and layout where some of the homes are very close to each other and some do not have big lots. Some of them are on the golf course and some of them are on little ponds. It is a very beautiful area where you will not only find expats but also some of the wealthier Panamanians.
