There are many places to go sightseeing in Casco Viejo such as the museums, historical monuments, and the churches. You can spend about a day just walking around and seeing these places. Then in the evening, you can first check to see what is going on at the National Theater (pictured to the right). If there is an activity at the National Theater, you would definitely want to go because it is a beautiful, small theater, designed by an Italian architect. It is very classic. ...

If there is an activity at the National Theater, you would definitely want to go because it is a beautiful, small theater, designed by an Italian architect. It is very classic. You can also see what other activities are going on around Casco Viejo and schedule your day around them. There is a publication here called The Visitor, which is in Spanish and in English and it tells you about all the activities scheduled in Casco Viejo. Then there is a group called Avaca. It is a non-profit organization that comes up with different activities like clean up drives at the beach or auctions of doors that are from Casco Viejo.

The best place for sightseeing in Panama City would be Casco Antiguo/Casco Viejo (pictured to the right) or you can go around Cinta Costera. You can run at the Cinta Costera or go biking and you will have a beautiful view of the Panama City skyline. There are also some hills close to Panama City where you can walk or hike. It is very beautiful because you are surrounded by nature.
