What are the outdoor activities in and around the Panama City, Panama area of Casco Viejo?

I love outdoors activity in Casco Viejo! I think it is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in Panama City, Panama, so it lends itself to being always out and about. We have a couple of beaches, which are Casco`s best kept secret. While some will tell you they are dirty, the truth is that Panama`s bay cleaning project is already working and it is all a matter of time. On summer days (which here are between December till April) there is a softball league that plays there on Sundays....

While some will tell you they are dirty, the truth is that Panama`s bay cleaning project is already working and it is all a matter of time. On summer days (which here are between December till April) there is a softball league that plays there on Sundays. In the morning you`ll see plenty of people jogging (you have to do it really early though, as Panama is really humid and hot), and with their bicycles. Strolling the parks is a favorite one, any day of the week after 5 p.m.  A favorite activity for crossfit fanatics is to go to the stairs at Las Bovedas and run up and down. And then there is the Cinta Costera, which is great for jogging and has plenty of spaces for sports and crossfit.  Enjoy!
