How much does it cost for a gardener in the Panama City, Panama area of Casco Viejo?
Abdiel U. Bustamante
Well in Panama City, in the Casco Viejo area, there is no need for a gardener. The reason there is no need for gardener in Casco Viejo is that it is very special area which consists of historical Spanish-style buildings with lots of concrete, brick, and stone structures with roads and sidewalks near the ocean.

Casco Viejo doesn’t have a lot of green space. It is the old city and I can’t even think of anybody who would even have a garden there. There’s not a lot of need for gardeners because there is not a lot of things to garden.

Casco Viejo is mostly apartments, condos, and it’s an area that is being revitalized so I don’t think there are any gardens in Casco Viejo or there are not very many. There are two town squares I can think of that have a little bit of grass and trees around them, but almost everything in Casco Viejo is just concrete and brick.
To give you an idea of the cost of a gardener in general in Panama, we pay US $20 for half a day in Coronado.
