Are there exotic birds in and around Boquete, Panama? Where can I go bird watching in and around Boquete, Panama?

Here in Boquete there are a lot of birds and I assume some exotic ones as well. There's a group named "Boquete Backyard Birdwalk" and they are always organizing bird walks in town and surrounding areas.
Here's their insignia to the right. I know who runs this group and if you need more info you may contact me.

Boquete for a number of years has been a birder's destination well worth the time and effort in birding Boquete. The highlight of any birding in the Boquete area is seeing the Resplendent Quetzal. One with a good birding guide may have an opportunity of seeing the Bell Bird. A day of birding in Boquete with luck will generate sightings of Toucans as well as Aracaries.

One of the areas to visit for birding is Finca Lerydia which is a coffee plantation not to mention their excellent small hotel. Several days in Boquete birding can be very rewarding.

I'm not a birder but I did decide to go look for the Quetzal in Boquete. I guess I was lucky because I saw a couple and am glad I took the time to try. They are beautiful birds and there is something magic about them in my opinion.
You can find a good chat string about looking for the Quetzal on TripAdvisor if you want to read about the pros and cons of trying to see the birds.

Boquete Region is a bird-watcher’s heaven, and its avian diversity tops 400 species during the dry season. You can observe even the gardens of homes and hotels decent birding; they're the best places to see migrant birds wintering in Boquete, and our Volcán Barú is home to rare species like the volcano junco and volcano hummingbird.
One of the best places to see the quetzal and other cloud-forest birds are Finca Lérida, the Bajo Mono Road and Finca El Oasis, above the ANAM (National Environment Authority) ranger station on the road to the summit of Volcán Barú,which has plenty of quetzals and others. I think Quetzals are hard to spot, and bird-watching in general is difficult in a cloud-forest environment. and even experienced birders should hire a local guide, at least for the first day.
