How's the biking in and around Bocas Del Toro, Panama?

The biking in Bocas del Toro is fun! It feels like you are riding in your neighborhood because there are only 2 streets where all the restaurant and hotels are. So you can explore the commercial areas and go around homes.

We like biking around in Bocas del Toro. We don't have a car so we get our groceries this way and go everywhere biking that we don't want to walk. It takes about 45 minutes to bike out to Bluff beach where there are two great restaurants to rest and eat at looking at the gorgeous ocean view. The road is paved about half way then you ride on sand and dirt so it can be challenging at times, especially when riding on the sand if a taxi is coming the other way on the one lane road.

You can also bike to Bocas del Drago which takes about 1.5 hours and is very hilly so you get lots of exercise. There is a restaurant and beautiful beach on that side too to enjoy yourself before riding back.
