Bocas del Toro Archipelago is a rain forest.
We have some of the most lush, green jungle I have ever seen with multitudes of flowers and plants to see. Because of that we also have lots of butterflies, and hummingbirds coming to sip the pollen.

Most people decorate their houses with tropical plants in Bocas del Toro. These are extremely colorful and they grow all year around. Most people, including expats, have nice little gardens. Lots of people grow plants from everywhere, from vegetables to trees. My personal favorite is the hot peppers. It is a hobby.
People take cuttings from their friends’ houses or yards and plant them. It is common to see lots of people walking down the road with three or four cuttings of different types of plants. Using cuttings for gardening is really big in Bocas del Toro. Bocas del Toro is is very decorative.
