Bocas does not have a mall but you will also find almost anything you want in the other stores there. There are department stores, too. You will find good food in the restaurants in Bocas. The only way to get to Isla Colon is by boat, which is called a water taxi. Isla Colon has a hospital, they have schools, and tourism is great in that area of Bocas Del Toro.
 
Bocas del Toro is not a dangerous place but we like to be careful just like everyone else. There was one time when there was a serial killer in the area, who was nicknamed Wild Bill. Luckily he was arrested.
 
The good things about living in Bocas is that everything is slow and everybody knows each other. There are a lot of restaurants and you are at walking distance to everything. The place is very relaxing, too. You can go swimming or diving any time you want to. It is very natural and it is very nice.
 
I think one bad thing about living in Bocas is that everything is the same every day, so you will have to go away occasionally to see something different or to do other things. It is a little town so it tends to get boring after a while.
