There are several places to stay on Isla Bastimentos. Red Frog Beach, Red Frog Bungalows, La Loma Jungle Lodge, Bocas Bound Hostel, Palmar Tent Lodge. There are two restaurants at Red Frog Beach: Punta Lava on the beach and Kayukos in the Jungle which is also a large open-air pavilion activity center. At various times of the year there are special dinner events and catered weddings on Red Frog Beach at Punta Lava.

Bastimentos is known for wildlife so it is a good place to view birds, find caphuchin monkeys, sloths and the strawberry colored red frogs.
