How's the surf and surfing in and around Granada, Nicaragua?
Anthony Largaespada - Tierra Tour
Around Granada, Nicaragua we have the biggest fresh water lake of Central America, the well known Cocibolca Lake. In this lake we have water sports: kayaking, paddle boating, motor boating, sailing. There are not enough waves to do surfing in the Lake of Nicaragua but it is a great place for bird watching and observing of a lot flora.

Granada, Nicaragua is located on the great lake Cocibolca, which is wonderful for boat tours, swimming, kayaking and other water sports. There is no surfing on the lake. However, Granada is just two hours by car from some of the best surfing beaches in Nicaragua, such as Playa Maderas and Playa Amarilla.
