How's the golf in and around Granada, Nicaragua?
John-Marc Gallagher - GPS Real Estate
There is no golf in Granada, Nicaragua, proper. However, there are several courses within driving distance I’ll list below. All prices are estimates, and include the carts.
About an hour and fifteen minutes from Granada to the coast, is a championship golf course built by Carlos Pellas at a result called Mukul. It costs around $350 a night to stay at Mukul and $300 to play the golf course, but its spectacular.

Also about an hour and fifteen minutes from Granada, there is a nine-hole executive course that’s very challenging at a resort called Iguana Beach, which is a residential community where it costs $55 - $65 to play.
There is a private gold club in Managua, about 45 minutes from Granada called Nehapa where it would cost probably $75 - $100 to play. It’s a private course but they allow non-members to play.
There’s another golf course on the Pacific coast north and west of Granada less than an hour away called Gran Pacifica, a 2,500 acre planned community with condominiums and homes already built. In the future it will be a 27-hole course but now it is a nine-hole course. The cost to play is about $75.
