Biking in Granada, Nicaragua is a great experience.
There are some establishments in Granada that have bike rentals. These are located mainly on "La Calzada" and the price per hour per bike is very low. To rent a bike, people must leave in the establishment their ID. When returning the bike, people only leave the bike at the rental, pay the consumed amount (around $1 per hour per bike), and take back their ID.

In Granada, Nicaragua there are not specific bike trails, but there are many options for biking in the colonial city passing by parks, colonial houses, and tourist sites.
Another option is to take the roads that lead to farms in Granada. While biking on those roads, people get the chance to see some local fauna and flora.
Whichever the route-urban or rural- biking in Granada Nicaragua is a great experience

If you want to ride for long distances, you can do that, too, by riding to Mombacho Volcano. Normally, however, most people go biking around the lake, which is very large.

One thing to keep in mind is that you will be riding in 90+ degree temps so be prepared to do a lot of sweating and watching out for traffic since they won't be watching for you. Early moring is the only time I would consider it in Nicaragua.
