For $800 a month in the center of town, you could get a house that's 150 to 200 square meters (about 1,100 to 1,600 square feet) with two to three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room.
For $1,500 a month in the center of town, you may not be getting more space for the extra cost, but you're getting better amenities. You could get a more colonial-looking house with a small pool, nicer showers, and granite countertops.
If you go a little bit further from the center, some people rent houses for $300 to $400. The cheapest rental cost in the urban area outside Granada is $150.
