Whether or not you can wear jewelry in Granada, Nicaragua and feel safe I guess depends on the type of jewelry you wear. I wear a watch, my wedding band, earrings and necklace each and every day. They are not flashy so it does not draw much attention.

In all honesty, your iPhone is more likely to get stolen than your jewelry. Also, take taxis if out late at night or in areas that are not highly populated. You can wear jewelry in Granada, Nicaragua, and you will feel safe.... just nothing too flashy. I've lived all my life in Granada, and I always wear my weeding ring, a bracelet and earrings with absolutely no problem.
One piece of advice... after 10:00 PM it is better to take a taxi for only 15 or 20 cordobas (less than a dollar) back home or back to your hotel.

You may wear jewelry in Granada, Nicaragua without any fear for your safety. I was born there and I can say that it is a safe town. There are no problems with theft and it is one of the main tourist spots in Nicaragua.
