What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a Nicaraguan passport?

I believe the only reason you would want a Nicaragua passport is if you are from Nicaragua and need to enter and leave the country freely. If you are from another country, that country's passport will work fine here.
Now, you may want to consider investing in a residency card (cedula). You cannot establish credit without having a cedula, which includes mobile phone contracts, ect. It will cost about $800 for the attorney fees to make this happen.
