Vaccinations in Nicaragua are recommended by some agencies depending on the location you plan to travel or live. Two that are no-brainers are tetanus and the Hepatitis series. We have lived here 11 years and have not chosen to take Malaria shots or pills.

While traveling abroad, it is always good to check the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website to see if you need vaccinations for the country you are visiting.
