Does Nicaragua television have American or Canadian TV channels?

Almost all of the Nicaraguan cable TV services offer some USA and other 'foreign' channels. In Managua, for example, the TV service has not only the local 'broadcast' news, entertainment, birthday greetings, and political statements, but brings in CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, and Fox. Most of the major sporting events (especially soccer and baseball) are telecast across the 109 or so channels. Some HBO or Showtime service is also included in the cable TV...

Where I live, the TV/Internist service brings in 33 channels, of which 2 are Spanish-speaking. The others are CBS, NBC, and ABC, along with Fox and Fox News, BBC, HBO, Showtime, AMC, TNT, ESPN (about 3 of these), and the Golf Channel.
So we get together every couple of years and adjust by vote which channels we wish to view. We don't spend our lives in front of the 'tube', but we like Jeopardy on weekday evenings and CBS Sunday Morning.

Nicaragua offers all different types of cable services like Claro TV, Estasa, Direct TV, and Dish Network. At home, where I live, I get all the TV channels that I want such as HBO, ABC, NBC, Fox News, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and a lot of the other channels that I watched when I was still in the US.

Yes, you can get American and Canadian TV channels in Nicaragua through satellite, and through cable.
There is a subsidiary of Direct TV here in Nicaragua. Basically, many of the channels that you would get in the States or Canada you can get here.
