Can I buy good clothes in Yucatan: Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Merida, etc.?

As of recently, yes, you can buy good clothes here in Playa del Carmen.  The commercial boom is happening. Over the last year or so we are booming. All over the Yucatan they are building malls like crazy and we’re getting all the high-end shopping from the US and Europe is coming here. For our 15-year-old daughter, that’s a great thing.

 

We have the typical malls you might expect in North America, but then we also have a lot of open-air...

We have the typical malls you might expect in North America, but then we also have a lot of open-air malls they’re building where the stores are all enclosed but the actual walkways are all open air. Maybe they have a roof up in case it rains but you still have the fresh air everywhere you go until you walk into the air-condition store. You get all the regular clothing stores you’d get back home.
