If you are going to pay $1,000 a week for a vacation...

If you are going to pay $1,000 a week for a vacation rental in Yucatan, you will be getting something palatial. You could also go as little as $200 or $300 a week for a little house back a few blocks on the beach. On the beach, $500 or $600 a week would get you a very nice place to stay. The prices are incredible.

For a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house, all utilities included, you would spend US $1,000 per month if you are renting on a long-term basis but you can get many deals like that on vacation rentals. Usually, when you are renting long term, the tenants will be responsible for the utilities.
